macarons, again.

I have officially made rose macarons with rose buttercream! My kitchen smells divine!


oh yeah the green ones are lime. And because I only added a little of lime juice and rind (cos I was afraid of ruining the batch…let’s face it, i’m still in my baking infancy), AND I only had lime COLOURING, it really didn’t taste much of lime. [remind self to find lime FLAVOURING in store]

This time around, the macs are a bit dry. I followed the recipe to the tee but i probably over-aged the egg whites (?!) or over folded them. I don’t know. I’m too tired to figure out. Macarons are taking over my life. sigh.
