I love macaroons too! but I always have problem getting that little skirt. Took me more than 8 attempts and when I finally got it, I just stop making them. Nowadays their main problem is that the macarons have been on display for a bit, so they dry up :( Poor little things, right?! They should call people like us to finish the macarons off :p I also think their fillings are non-too-creative, relying too much on ordinary buttercreams.
