Honey Mustard Chicken and Apples

Chicken with honey-mustard sauce and apples is one great dish for dinner because of its flavorful taste. This is actually a simple and easy meal that is low in fats and calories. The slices of apples and cuts of chicken really taste differently delicious with the honey mustard sauce. It has the sweet and tangy taste of a dish, just perfect to stimulate your appetite and satisfy your food cravings. 8 pieces chicken breasts
1 large onion, large cuts
2 cooking apples (chuncks)
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
2 to 3 tablespoons honey mustard
1 ½ teaspoons butter (unsalted)
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley (chopped)

1. Before preparing the ingredients, preheat the oven at 450°. Rub salt and pepper on the chicken. Using an ovenproof skillet, heat the olive oil in a medium temperature. Cook the chicken until golden brown, flip to the other side and cook for another 3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
2. Using the same skillet, cook the onions and apples until slightly soft, add in salt and pepper to taste. Mix the mustard and broth, then pour down to the skillet to boil. Set the chicken in an arranged order in the skillet and roast in the oven for 20 minutes.
3. Mix flour and butter in a bowl to form a paste. Take the chicken from the skillet and transfer them into a plate. Simmer the leftover juices in the skillet and whisk in the flour and butter paste and boil for 2 minutes. Add some more of the flour and butter paste until you have a slightly thick gravy. Season to taste and pour over the arranged chicken. Garnish with some chopped parsley.
